The photo above is a shot of myself and Marian Donnelly, proprietor of the Creative City Centre. The Centre is a two-floor space above Loggie's Shoes on Hamilton Street, and Donnelly and her crew of volunteers have spent years looking to secure a space out of which artists from various disciplines can work. Donnelly, who teaches a class on business and fine arts at the U of R, gave me a tour of the building on Friday afternoon, showing me the places which will eventually house a printmaking collective, a fashion design collective, and other artistic endeavours.

Watch for the next issue to learn more about the Creative City Centre and Donnelly's vision of a more artistically-engaged Regina.
